Research Interests

I conduct research on the transnational aspects of civil wars with a special focus on civil war mediation, inter-organizational relations in mediation, and the relationship between local and international levels of analysis in mediation. I'm particularly interested in multiparty mediation and its effect on conflict outcomes. I study these and related topics in the context of the Yemeni civil war by using mixed-methods. For my MA degree I conducted field research in Saudi Arabia.
